Missouri State Regulations
Transportation Restrictions
Travel restricted during the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Travel is restricted for Thanksgiving beginning at 12:00 noon on Wednesday and resumes the following Monday. If a holiday falls on a Sunday, the restriction applies till the following Monday. On all holidays, the restriction begins at 12:00 noon on the day preceding the holiday or holiday weekend.
No movement is allowed in adverse conditions such as snow covered roads or when winds affect movement or when visibility is less than 500’.
No movement is allowed on weekend in the following areas:
Lake of the Ozarks area – From 5/25 to Labor Day:

Transportation Requirements
Superloads
Anything over Routine Issue dimensions requires special approval from the DOT.
Oversize Load Signs
“Oversize Load” signs required for loads over 10’6” wide or 90’ long or for single unit vehicles over 50’ long.
Flags/Lights
18” red or orange flags required at the extreme ends or projections of all overwidth and overlength loads.
Blades
Dozer blades can be hauled on the same trailer if not creating the oversize / overweight if the
blade or bucket is permanently attached, can be hauled together.
