Transportation Restrictions
The following holidays are restricted: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
If the holiday falls on a day other than Monday or Saturday, movement restricted from sunset of the day preceding to sunrise of the day following. When a holiday falls on a Monday, movement is prohibited after sunset of the preceding Saturday until sunrise on the following Tuesday. If a holiday falls on a Saturday, movement is prohibited after sunset of the preceding Friday until sunrise on the following Monday.

Superloads
Anything over Routine Issue dimensions requires special approval from the DOT.
Oversize Load Signs
“Oversize Load” signs are required for any oversize load.
Flags/Lights
12” red or orange flags should be placed at the four corners and extremities of any oversize load.
Blades
Bulldozer blades and arms over 14′ wide should be detached and hauled in a manner to not
create a safety hazard. Dozer blades shorter than 14′ wide may be hauled without being
detached provided the dozer is firmly supported. If buckets, blades, and/or counterweights are
easy to remove, they must be removed, but can be hauled with the load. Blade can be detached
and hauled with the dozer on the same trailer if the load would be overweight with or without the
blade. It should be stated on the permit.
