Trucking Permits Goal - Coast 2 Coast Trucking Permits

Oklahoma County: Movement of oversize permitted loads is not allowed on the National System of Interstate and Defense Highways in Oklahoma County from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM, and from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Tulsa County: Movement of oversize permitted loads is not allowed on the National System of Interstate and Defense Highways in Tulsa County from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM, and from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Cleveland County: Movement of oversize permitted loads is not allowed on the National System of Interstate and Defense Highways in Cleveland County from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM, and from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The two (2) mile section of Interstate 35 between State Highway 9 East (Exit 108) and State Highway 9 West (Exit 106) shall be exempt from this restriction.

Travel restricted during inclement weather.

The following holidays are restricted: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

Operating Time

Half an hour before sunrise to half an hour after sunset.

Weekend Travel

Travel allowed Saturday and Sunday.

Superloads

Anything over Routine Issue dimensions require special approval from the DOT.

Oversize Load Signs

“Oversize Load” signs required for any oversize load.

Flags/Lights

12” red flags required at the four corners and widest point of any oversize load and at the end of any overhang over 4’.

Blades

Dozers with blades that exceed 12 feet in width shall not be permitted to travel more than 50
miles from the base of operation. When exceeding the 50-mile limit, the blade is to be removed
and hauled separately if causing the load to be overweight.
